The Leave No-One Behind In Lymm team are very pleased to be able to offer those who are self isolating, shielding, or otherwise need some additional support, with a weekly essentials food box and/or a Sunday hot meal.
The scheme has been made possible through public financial and food donations as well as grant funding. It plugs the gaps between other food systems such as council food parcels and foodbanks so that no one is left in need. We work with local caterers and restaurants to receive donations or purchase discounted meals. If you are financially able, any donations for the meals/food will help to prolong our ability to operate this service.
How It Works

You can register yourself or nominate someone who needs meal or food support. A single form captures various information to assess the various ways we can help via our team or by signposting to other parties.
If registering another person, please obtain as much information as possible in advance or complete the form with them by phone or at distance.
Sensitive information does not need to be shared but the more detail we have, the better we can identify those in need and assist.
Registration at: www.lymmhelp.co.uk/requesthelp
Depending on the requirements listed on the registration form, we will arrange a hot meal or food parcel weekly/fortnightly.
For meals, we’re partnering with various local businesses to order from them so it keeps the money local.
For food parcels, we use the food donations given to us that are stored by our partner Lymm Business Centre and we top up supplies from Coop donations and using the funds we have.
We’ve partnered with Lymm Churches Together who will call you weekly, typically on a Friday and confirm that you would still like to be receive the service and confirm what meals or food parcels are due to be delivered and when.
A separate Delivery Team has been created within LNOBIL to collect Coop & other food donations and then deliver food parcels and hot meals which takes the strain off the local businesses supporting this scheme.
Once a meal or food parcel has been confirmed by phone, the Delivery Team collect it from the local supplier and deliver it to the home of the nominated recipient at a specified time.
The team comprises over 40 local volunteers who will work according to relevant hygiene and social distancing guidelines.

Donating Food Items or Money to the Scheme
Food Donations
Please drop non-perishable items outside the Library main doors, 10AM-12Noon on Friday.
Items are stored and handled safely along with further donations we receive nightly from the Coop.
(Note Sainsburys collects for the Foodbank whom we also liaise with)
Monetary Donations
The scheme is only possible due to the kind donations from the public and a limited amount of grant funding. The monetary fund is run by our local charity partner Lymm Sanctuary Hub. Every £5 that you donate, once gift aided and match funded more than doubles your donation to £12.50.
